Since there are two rambunctious cats in the house, I decided to hang the fragile ornaments up high 🎄

This weekend I bought mp3’s for an album in the first time since forever. I’ve been using Amazon Prime’s music service to stream songs for ages but now you can’t download music for offline use unless you pay a monthly subscription. No thank you.

One of the benefits of homeschooling: I get to decide when there is a snowday! It might be just an inch but the kids are outside having fun and I’ll make hot chocolate when they wander back.

I am so over painting and household projects. These just need one last coat. Then my husband and I need to figure out what we’re doing with the other twelve 😬

Yes! Happy Dance Time! 🥳 We sold our condo! After 10 years of constant stress, becoming very reluctant landlords, dealing with court systems and having to lawyer up we are done! Yay! 🎊

One of my biggest homeschooling wins this year was finding Falcons for my kids to join two days a week. My daughter needed more peer interaction, my son needed his creative muscles stretched, and I needed to not burn out.

Why is it that when I super stressed out and my to-do list is overflowing my brain just wants to add one more new craft/book/task/app to try and make it all better? 😒

I’ve cleaned up my notion set up to be more in line with the Johnny Decimal System and I’m liking it so far.

It’s so hard to get the motivation to drive anywhere when it’s dark by 4pm. Toss in some rain and heavy winds and I really just want to spend the rest of today at home. ☔

Brushed off the old Notion app and digging into the Johnny Decimal system. Also on the list tonight is freezing some Cheese Gougères for Thanksgiving and roasting some beets. Maybe I’ll even have some time to mess with my blog styling as well 😀

I just finished my first ballet class! 🩰 I got to meet some pretty neat people and I can’t wait until next week. Another item off the bucket list 😊
