I wasn’t sure if I’d have good internet connection while on vacation so I tossed together a little micro.blog client that didn’t use JavaScript or load any images by default to keep the amount of data transferred low. I’m kinda loving it.

The other day I was scrambling over some volcanic rocks when my shoe got caught. Luckily years of kung fu and tai chi kicked in and I managed to fall in such a way I didn’t break bones. Balance exercises and learning how to fall are so important as we age.

I’m finally taking a rest day. I think I’ve walked around this island too much. I’m a bit sunburnt from it all. Time to pull out my Hobonichi and drink a cappuccino.

So far we’ve lost luggage on this vacation (since recovered) and our rental house had busted AC unit. To make up for the fact that they can’t repair it until a part is shipped to the island we’ve been moved to a larger place 😄
