I made myself take my time and not rush in finishing my orchid in one sitting. It’s finally done, and I love how it looks on my window sill 🌸

One thing I’ve really enjoyed this week was writing down a daily quote in my journal. To start the year out I’m reading “The Practicing Stoic” by Ward Farnsworth and jotting down what strikes me as meaningful as I work my way through it.

It’s been so grey and rainy here this week. Plus going back to work and ramping up homeschooling has left me extra drained. I needed something lovely to look at. My favorite vase and bright flowers are just the ticket.
